HSK

The HSK (Hànyǔ Shuǐpíng Kǎoshì 汉语水平考试), or Chinese Proficiency Test, is the official standardized exam for non-native speakers of Mandarin Chinese. Administered globally by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) under China's Ministry of Education, it assesses proficiency in daily, academic, and professional contexts.

  • New HSK System (2025): Replaced the older 6-level system with nine levels, grouped into three stages:
